Dr. Nikhil Sharma completed his Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the Prestigious KLE Society’s Institute of Dental Sciences in Bangalore and was the topper of his Orthodontic Batch.

He has widely presented research papers and clinical cases in Dentistry on National and International Platforms. Dr. Sharma received the nomination for Dr. Young Chel Park Award, Japan for his original research on Accelerated Orthodontics in  2017. This research has reduced the time duration of orthodontic treatment by 3-4 months. He has also received the First prize in Scientific Paper presentation at the National Lingual Orthodontic Conference, India in 2016.

Due to his keen interest in aesthetic Orthodontics, he founded and is the proud owner of 3D Ortho Solutions, a completely digital Orthodontic lab and a Digital dental clinic specialized in Orthodontics. He did individual research to invent a new series of CAD-CAM based Lingual braces which are today known as Conceal Lingual Braces. This lingual appliance is in the process for a Patent application in India.

Along with this, he has developed a new series of clear aligners which are today known as Shinealign clear aligners.

He was offered a PhD in Japan from Kagoshima University but later decided to manufacture his own Lingual braces and Clear Aligners by staying the chairman and director of 3D Ortho Solutions.

He has published his research articles in renowned journals and has presented lectures as guest speaker on digital orthodontics and accelerated orthodontics on various platforms.
